Eleven Food Items Sent to Abdullah bin Masoud Religious Community
According to its core activities, business plans, and the approved financial plan for 1404, the state-owned Corporation of Arzaq has contracts with four key government ministries for the supply and delivery of food items, ensuring timely delivery to the relevant institutions.
Jan Mohammad Omari, the Project Implementation Director at Arzaq, stated that yesterday, 11 essential food items were sent to the Abdullah bin Masoud Religious Community affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education.
He added that these food items include:
- 4,000 kg of rice
- 1,149.3 kg of vegetable oil
- 244.8 kg of beans
- 40.8 kg of raw chickpeas
- 401.67 kg of sugar
- 22.95 kg of green tea
- 63 kg of tomato paste
- 0.765 g of cardamom
- 5.751 kg of cumin
- 9.585 kg of spice mix for cooking
- 275.76 kg of table salt
Omari noted that the food items were delivered to the university’s responsible officer in the presence of a joint inspection committee from both sides. The administrative board of the Abdullah bin Masoud Religious Community also expressed appreciation for Arzaq’s efforts and conveyed their satisfaction with its services.
It is noteworthy that, according to the contracts, Arzaq delivers raw materials based on the institutions’ requests, and the distribution of fresh food items is carried out on a daily basis.
