Food Supplies Delivered to Drug Treatment Hospitals in Kunar and Nuristan Provinces and to the Dormitory of Nuristan University
The State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq, operating under the General Directorate of State-Owned Enterprises, has delivered a variety of essential food items to the drug treatment hospitals in Kunar and Nuristan provinces, as well as to the dormitory of Nuristan University, in line with its operational activities, services, and commercial plan.
Mohammad Zahed Akbar, Director of Provincial Project Implementation under the company's Project Implementation Department, stated that 15 categories of food items were delivered to the drug treatment hospitals affiliated with the Provincial Public Health Directorates of Kunar and Nuristan, while 14 categories of food items were delivered to the dormitory of Nuristan University.
According to him, these food supplies were procured and dispatched based on the requests of the relevant institutions to meet their three-month requirements. The shipment included rice, cooking oil, beans, chickpeas, green tea, sugar, salt, and other essential food commodities.
Akbar further explained that the supplies were loaded from the company's central warehouses and, after being handed over to the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq Management Office in Kunar Province, were transported to the drug treatment hospital in Nuristan Province and the dormitory of Nuristan University. The items were officially handed over to the respective institutions in the presence of a monitoring committee.
Officials of the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq stated that the company is committed to providing government institutions with which it has contracts across different provinces of the country with the required food supplies in a timely manner and in accordance with high-quality standards, ensuring the continuity of services and the fulfillment of institutional needs.
The State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq reaffirmed its commitment to further expanding its services, strengthening the regular distribution of food supplies, and ensuring the timely fulfillment of government institutions' needs while continuously delivering high-quality services throughout the country.
