The essential activities of State-owned Corporation of ARZAQ involve the supply of food materials to both government and non-government offices. This project is carried out through official contracts by the company.

Non-Essential Activities
non-essential activities focus on the company’s properties, which include commercial markets, agricultural land, hangars, warehouses, and typical shops. These properties are rented out to individuals and registered companies for investment through official contracts.

Since the victory of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, State-owned Corporation of ARZAQ has made an 80% progress in its essential and non-essential activities, a result of the leadership's efforts.

Business Activities in the Company’s Real Estate Sector
In terms of business activities, commercial markets have been introduced in Nangarhar and Laghman provinces, and today, we take a brief look at the Pul-e-Charkhi warehouses.

Company's Warehouses in Paktia Kot, Kabul
In Kabul city, in the Paktia Kot industrial park, State-owned Corporation of ARZAQ actively operates six warehouses across 68,000 square meters of land, recognized as suitable for business activities. Each warehouse has the capacity to store thousands of tons of food materials (legumes), which can play a significant role in preventing food crises.

The company's real estate manager says that of these six warehouses, one is used for the storage and distribution of food supply projects, while the other five are leased to Emirati offices and private companies through official contracts.

Job Creation
Through its essential and non-essential activities, State-owned Corporation of ARZAQ has so far created 4,000 direct and indirect job opportunities. Company officials are working to increase this number.

Typical Shops
State-owned Corporation of ARZAQ owns 12 typical shops in Kabul city, which are managed and maintained by the company. These shops are currently leased out for company revenue generation and management.

Efforts for Economic Development
State-owned Corporation of ARZAQ not only increases its revenue through its existing properties but also creates numerous job opportunities for citizens. This process positively impacts the economic condition of the people and is beneficial for the country’s economic growth.

Future Goal
Our main goal is, in addition to providing food materials to offices in need, to convert all our properties into commercial activities and create more job opportunities for people, thus contributing more to the country’s economic growth.
