The State-Owned Corporation of ARZAQ, under the umbrella of the General Directorate of Emirati Companies within the framework of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, conducts its commercial activities in accordance with the laws of state-owned companies, the approved statutes, and the applicable laws of the country. The company is committed to implementing its strategic plan and annual plans, along with other programs and projects. These programs and projects provide investment opportunities for both domestic and foreign private sectors under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) law. Private sector investors, both domestic and foreign, can invest in the following programs and projects through partnerships with the Emirati Food Company under the set conditions:

  • Investment opportunities in the company's real estate properties in the capital and provinces.
  • Investment opportunities in food supply projects.
  • Investment opportunities in the establishment of a chain of super stores program.
  • Investment opportunities in a factory for producing tomato paste.
  • Investment opportunities in the establishment of an edible oil production factory.
  • Investment opportunities in the establishment of cold storage facilities.

General Conditions:

  • The investor must be a legal entity (company) with a legal license from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
  • The investor's license must be up-to-date, and they must have the latest tax clearance documents from the Ministry of Finance, along with a non-liability certificate from the Ministry of Interior.
  • Investment Opportunities in Establishing a Tomato Paste Manufacturing Factory.
  • The investor must have strong financial and technical capacity.
  • The investor must have a physical office in Afghanistan.
  • The investor must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  • The investor should not be unable to pay debts, should not be under liquidation, bankruptcy, or dissolution, and their business activities should not be suspended or subject to judicial referral.
  • The investor must not have a conflict of interest with the company.
  • The investor should not have been convicted in the last two years for a business violation by a court.

Specific Conditions:

  • The conditions for advancing each program and project of the state-owned Emirati Food Company with domestic and foreign investors are set according to the procurement law, investment law, land affairs law, and other applicable laws of the country. These conditions will be established and applied separately for each program and project based on the nature of the program and project.
