Continuing from previous reports, this time we provide our esteemed readers with information about the properties and assets of the State-owned Corporation of Arzaq in Kunar Province!

Kunar is considered one of the important and strategic provinces in the eastern region, where the State-owned Corporation of Arzaq owns various properties such as commercial markets, warehouses, and land. The province benefits from the company's commercial activities, which form a significant part of its revenue generation.

The director of the State-owned Corporation of Arzaq in Kunar, Mr. Karim Khan Kaliwal, stated that one of the key real estate assets of the company in the province’s city is a four-story commercial market, which consists of 48 active shops and 28 residential rooms. This property has been contracted in a partnership agreement with a private company, with 65% of its revenue deposited into the company’s account.

Kaliwal further added that the company owns two stone-built warehouses in Kunar Province—one located in the Shukray area and the other, a 2,000-square-meter warehouse in Salar Bagh, which has a metal roof. These warehouses are considered among the most valuable properties of the State-owned Corporation of Arzaq in Kunar.

Mr. Kaliwal emphasized that, in addition to these properties, the company owns several other assets that have been occupied either by individuals or government institutions. Efforts are ongoing to reclaim these properties.

According to the company's director, the 2,000-square-meter warehouse in Salar Bagh, which was recently reclaimed from illegal occupation, will soon be leased through an open bidding process.

It is worth noting that, thanks to the efforts of the Kunar State-owned Corporation of Arzaq, the successful recovery of the Salar Bagh warehouse land—which had been illegally occupied for years—is considered one of the department’s major achievements.

Additionally, the Kunar State-owned Corporation of Arzaq effectively carries out its responsibilities in supplying and delivering essential food supplies to the university dormitory, provincial hospital, and orphanage.
