Twelve Food Items Delivered to Professors of Maidan Wardak University
The State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq , in line with its core activities, commercial operations, and the approved plan for the current fiscal year, delivered 12 essential food items yesterday for the professors of Maidan Wardak University.
Seyed Shamsuddin Akbar, the Chief Supplies Director of Maidan Wardak Province, stated that the items were loaded from central warehouses and handed over to the university’s responsible official in the presence of a monitoring committee.
He added that the delivered items included 846 kilograms of rice, 234 kilograms of vegetable oil, 93.6 kilograms of sugar, 55.2 kilograms of beans, 5.4 kilograms of green tea, 57.6 kilograms of table salt, 28.8 kilograms of eggplant and tomato paste, 9.2 kilograms of raw chickpeas, 0.2 grams of tea cardamom, 1.1 kilograms of cumin, 1.8 kilograms of cooking spices, and 0.7 grams of turmeric.
According to another report, Wahidullah Alkhozi, the Supplies Director of Laghman Province, visited various sections of the training center affiliated with the Department of Labor and Social Affairs yesterday.
Alkhozi stated that during the visit, he closely inspected the process of food distribution, the quality and quantity of meals, and the kitchen facilities. He also provided guidance and recommendations to the responsible officials regarding cleanliness, organization, and improved performance.
