Director of Commercial Affairs of the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq Participates in the First Joint Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Light Industries Exhibition
The first joint Afghanistan-Uzbekistan Light Industries Exhibition was held at the International Trade Center in the city of Termez, Uzbekistan, where a wide range of industrial products, commercial goods, and products from both countries were displayed.
Mawlawi Sayed Nik-Mohammad Motasim, Director of Commercial Affairs of the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq, and Asadullah Ebrahimi, Head of Trade Development and Investment Attraction, also participated in the exhibition.
Various industrial products and commercial goods from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan were showcased at the exhibition. The exhibition was aimed at introducing the products, goods, and industrial capacities of the two countries and creating new opportunities for the expansion of trade relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
Mawlawi Sayed Nik-Mohammad Motasim, Director of Commercial Affairs of the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq, said that his participation in the exhibition was aimed at expanding relations with Uzbek traders and investors and identifying new opportunities to further strengthen trade and economic cooperation.
He added that discussions had been held with a number of traders regarding the import of food products. According to him, the traders expressed their willingness to facilitate, in coordination and cooperation with the relevant authority, the import of flour, cooking oil, chickpeas, beans, sugar, tea, and other essential food items in the future, with the aim of strengthening the company’s services.
It is worth noting that the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq is making efforts to effectively utilize available opportunities through trade programs and exhibitions in order to promote trade development and strengthen economic cooperation.
