Head of Commercial Affairs of the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq Meets with Director General of Customs.

Yesterday, Mawlawi Sayed Nik Mohammad Motasem, Head of Commercial Affairs of the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq, met with Mawlawi Mohammad Hamid Ahmad, Director General of Customs.

The meeting was also attended by the legal and commercial affairs advisers of the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq and the Director of Planning and Policy of the General Directorate of Customs.

During the meeting, discussions were held on greater cooperation by the customs authorities in the importation process of goods for the State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq, as well as on establishing better coordination between the two institutions.

Furthermore, discussions and an exchange of views took place regarding customs procedures and related matters, with the aim of facilitating and accelerating the import process.

At the meeting, both sides agreed that, in the future, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) would be signed between the two institutions in order to further strengthen joint cooperation, improve the organization of affairs, and ensure better management of the import process.

At the end of the meeting, several other relevant issues were also discussed, and both sides emphasized the continuation of their joint cooperation.
