Legal Advisor – State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq

About the Role:
State-Owned Corporation of Arzaq is seeking a skilled Legal Advisor to provide expert guidance on commercial matters, enhance economic performance, ensure transparency, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide written and oral legal advice to the Executive Committee and department staff.
- Review and ensure compliance of contracts with national laws.
- Support procurement oversight and improve company systems.
- Participate in meetings with government agencies and private sector partners.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, policies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Public Policy, or related fields.
- 5–10 years of relevant legal advisory experience in government or public-sector institutions.
- Strong understanding of commercial law, contracts, markets, and economic analysis.
- Excellent report writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Pashto or Dari and good command of English.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
